Following his keynote address, Robert Bringhurst listens to points made by an APHA Conference attendee at the Cary Collection reception. Conference attendees viewed three exhibitions.

Conference attendees examine some of examples of contemporary fine press printing in the Cary Collection. Additional exhibitions included "Educating the Good and Curious Workman," on printer's manuals, and "The Hamilton Wood Type Museum," displaying work done by Richard Zauft and Dennis Ichiyama. Conference attendees also received a keepsake made by Ichiyama and reproduced online.
